Not another newsletter. A print magazine that felt premium, read well, and was worth keeping on a desk. We planned it, designed it, wrote for it, and edited every page.
Homa is a mobile gaming publisher with a community of thousands of developers. Most of that relationship happens on screens: dashboards, Discord, email. Homa wanted something tangible, a thing developers could hold, keep, and pass around, that delivered real value rather than a sales message.
A magazine is a strange thing to make for a digital audience. That's the point. It stands out because nobody else in the space is doing it, and it only works if the quality holds up to the gesture.
Planned, designed, written, and edited
Planning and design
We planned the magazine's structure from cover to back page, designed the layout, and built a visual identity that would hold its own on a shelf. Vibrant gradients, clear typography, and imagery drawn from the gaming world. Every spread was meant to feel intentional rather than templated.
Content and editing
We wrote articles for the publication and served as final editor for everything in it. Deep dives into hybridcasual trends, interviews with industry leaders, and the rest went through the same editorial pass: is it clear, is it true, and is it worth a developer's time.
